I finished her this afternoon and I thought I would show my progress. She is a bit more native american now.
Her bear skin cape turned out much nicer than I anticipated. Its the details that make me worry about myself. I’m nearly 40 and still playing with dolls. well.
I love her little bear cape! And the little scene you have made. Don’t worry-I’m 43 and I am still playing with dolls too-infact mpre so now than I ever did as a child!
your little bear is so cute! and so beautifully made. i love the cape too. and the pictures you took of her are lovely!
So sweet, wonderful job!
She’s fantastic!
So cute with the little wool fire!! I’ve never tried felting but it looks so neat, might have to test it out.
Really sweet peice. Thank you for sharing.
This is such a darling doll and scene! I was showing my little son your piece and he loved it (he’s “camping” in the back yard with dad tonight). I could see your dolls in a childrens book as part of the illustrations!
Now a book would be a treat wouldn’t it! Oh my gosh YOU need to make a little book out of that gypsy scene you did for the mad hatter party I just about popped an eyeball on last night! I can’t believe the magic that you are able to conjure up with your lovely things. It seems like an impossible amount of work and beauty.
Thank you for sharing your comment, it is nice to hear that a young boy likes this wee little bear. I often wonder if I make them a bit too girly for boys. Thanks so much for replying and wow I really love your work!
She is so cute I love her clothes
She looks great, and I love her character!
The felting texture is great really makes me wish I could touch her!
sister bear is my fave besides wren thus far. Soooooooo great, That cape–wow! You are an amazement sister. What a beautiful thing that you are still playing with dolls. And bringing us these beauties! Seriously.
I am so glad you mentioned the caravan work of the commentor above. Lily is now having to type this for me as both my eyes popped out. Wow. just wow.
